Fifteen Lifting
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Collaborated on a picture book documenting the landscape and architectural identity of Afe Babalola University, designed to visually and narratively capture the atmosphere of the campus.
CONCEPT & INTENT
The project aimed to present the university environment not only as a physical space, but as an immersive and lush learning community, highlighting its natural scenery, architectural design, and student experience.
MY CONTRIBUTION
I developed the narrative voice of the book, writing accompanying text and captions to guide readers through the visual journey. My work focused on translating spatial and visual details into evocative language that enhanced the reader’s sense of place.
PROCESS & APPROACH
Working collaboratively with the visual team, the creative director Raphael Esu, and the photographer, TStickz, I ensured the written elements complemented the imagery, maintaining tonal consistency and clarity while reinforcing the project’s storytelling objectives.
OUTCOME
The finished book serves as a visual and narrative showcase of the university, supporting institutional storytelling and providing a compelling representation of campus life.
